FAQ

The questions that come up most.

Does Roadshow send the emails for me?
No. It creates drafts inside your school Outlook. You review and send each one yourself - same workflow as if you'd typed them, just without the typing.
Do you see my contacts or my email content?
No. The desktop app runs on your laptop and drives your own browser session into outlook.office.com under your school login. The hosted API only ever sees CSV column headers and your template - never recipient lists, never email bodies. Same posture as a password manager.Read the full privacy page
Will the recipient know it was automated?
Not from Roadshow itself. Drafts are plain text from your real .edu address with your real signature. The variable swap is the same mail merge banks have used for years. What betrays automation is templates that read like AI - which is why we don't generate the body for you.
What if I run out of credits mid-batch?
Drafts already in Outlook stay there. The batch is saved locally; buy another pack and pick up where you left off without re-charging for already-drafted contacts.
Why does it have to be my school email?
Recruiters explicitly trash messages from gmail and yahoo - they assume those are bots. .edu addresses signal a human student and clear nearly every spam filter. Roadshow drafts directly into your school Outlook so the From line is the real you.
What's your refund policy?
No refunds. The 3 free drafts before checkout exist so you can verify Roadshow works on your machine and fits your workflow before paying. If something breaks after purchase, email and we'll make it right - but credits are non-refundable.
What happens to my credits between cycles?
The Starter and Standard packs never expire - run them next semester or save them for FT recruiting. The Season Pass is bounded to one recruiting cycle (May 31 expiration). Credits don't roll over between Season Passes.
What's your deliverability rate?
We don't measure one. Roadshow doesn't send anything - drafts land in your school Outlook and you click send yourself. Whether your email lands in someone's inbox depends on your school's mailserver, your subject line, and your wording. We don't promise rates we can't control.
