Plain-language terms for using Roadshow. By installing the app or buying credits, you agree to the points below.
What you are buying
A one-time pack of draft credits. There are no subscriptions and no auto-renewals. Each credit lets Roadshow create one draft in your Outlook on the Web mailbox.
Drafts only, not sending
Roadshow writes drafts. You review and send them yourself from Outlook. We never send mail on your behalf and we do not run any sending infrastructure.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you send and to whom. That includes following CAN-SPAM and any equivalent rules in your country, your school's acceptable-use policy for its email system, and any agreements you have with people on your contact list. Do not use Roadshow to send mass commercial mail, unsolicited bulk mail, or anything that would put your school account at risk.
Credits
Credits are tied to your account and are not transferable to another account.
The Starter and Standard packs do not expire. The unlimited Season Pass tier expires at the end of the recruiting season (May 31 of the season you bought it in).
We do not offer refunds. The 3 free drafts available before checkout are the trial. If something is broken on our side and we cannot fix it, email us and we will make it right.
Attachments
Every draft can carry up to 20 MB of attachments total - that's Outlook's ceiling, not ours. The number of files differs by plan: Starter and Standard support up to two attachments per batch (typically a resume plus one supporting document), and the Season Pass raises that to eight so power users can include deal sheets, transcripts, writing samples, or multiple pitch decks alongside the resume.
Fair use on the Season Pass
The unlimited Season Pass is capped at 1,000 drafts per rolling 24-hour window. The cap is well above any realistic recruiting-season day - the founder's own high-water mark was 600 in a day - and exists to prevent automated abuse on a tier that would otherwise have no ceiling. Each Roadshow draft costs us a small amount in AI compute, and without the cap a single account running an overnight script could degrade the service for every other Season Pass holder. If you hit the cap, drafting pauses; resume the next day with no loss of credits. If you have a legitimate reason to need more than 1,000 in 24 hours, email us and we will work it out.
What we do not promise
Response rates, deliverability, interview offers, and the quality of your outreach are all on you. Roadshow is a tool that saves you keystrokes; it does not change the merits of your pitch or your candidacy.
Termination
We may suspend an account if it is being used to abuse a school mailbox or to violate the rules above. If we ever shut Roadshow down, anyone with an active credit balance will get notice and a way to use up remaining credits or recover account data.
