Cleaner drafting-screen copy.

Changed

  • The drafting screen now reads "Roadshow is preparing your drafts. Keep this window open." The earlier caveats about Outlook flickering and minimizing the Chromium window are gone.

Pause and Return-to-home actually work now (v0.1.5 only thought they did).

Fixed

  • Pause and Return-to-home now work on Windows. The previous release's pause-marker write was failing silently because the user-directory lookup expected HOME, which Windows doesn't set by default.
  • Free-tier batches now use the same batch ID end to end. v0.1.5 minted a separate ID inside the loop, so pause requests landed at one address and the polling check looked at another - they never matched.

Pause and Return-to-home now work mid-batch on the free tier.

Fixed

  • Pause and Return-to-home buttons now work during a free-tier batch. Both wait for the current contact to finish, then halt cleanly with no partial drafts.

Stability fixes: app boots cleanly, free tier respects its 3-draft cap, font note clearer.

  • Font preview now explains that Aptos / Calibri only render if Office is installed locally, on both Windows and Mac.

Fixed

  • Roadshow no longer shows a startup error on first launch. The app now waits for its background process to be ready instead of racing it.
  • Free tier now correctly stops at 3 drafts and shows the paywall instead of silently letting the batch keep going.

  • Upload Apollo, Hunter, LinkedIn, or any contacts CSV / XLSX. Roadshow figures out the columns automatically.
  • Click variables for First name, Firm, Title and they drop into your template. You write every word; Roadshow handles the swap.
  • Drafts land directly in your school Outlook drafts folder. Review and send manually.
  • Save and reuse templates across batches. Load saved templates inside the wizard.
  • Rename batches from the dashboard. Resume failed batches without re-charging already-paid rows.
